Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Pipal mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. Pipal is operated by Pipal Apps Pvt. Ltd., registered in Nepal.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Pipal. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to engage in any commercial transactions.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at help@pipalapps.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Buying & Selling

Pipal is a marketplace platform. When you buy or sell on Pipal, you agree to the following:

• —Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of product listings, pricing, and availability.
• —Buyers agree to pay the listed price plus any applicable taxes and delivery fees.
• —Pipal is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers, but facilitates the connection and payment processing.
• —All prices are in Nepali Rupees (NPR) unless stated otherwise.
• —Flash Delivery and Standard Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on location.

5. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You agree not to:

• —Post false, misleading, or fraudulent product listings.
• —Sell counterfeit, stolen, or illegal goods.
• —Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• —Use the platform for spam, phishing, or any malicious activity.
• —Attempt to circumvent or manipulate Pipal's payment systems.
• —Scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the platform without permission.

6. Payments & Wallet

Pipal supports payments via eSewa, Khalti, IME Pay, and the in-app Pipal Wallet. By adding funds to your wallet or making a payment, you agree to our payment terms. Refunds are processed at our discretion and subject to seller policies. We are not responsible for payment gateway downtime or processing delays.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Pipal (photos, videos, product listings, reviews). By posting, you grant Pipal a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Pipal name, logo, app design, and all related materials are the property of Pipal Apps Pvt. Ltd. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without written permission.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Pipal does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of products listed. To the maximum extent permitted by Nepali law, Pipal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via in-app notification or email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
